A 4-star hotel and golf resort based in Surrey.


The golf resort first made contact with Cold Control in the 90s, looking for an alternative solution to their current air conditioning and refrigeration systems.


Their current provider wasn’t delivering the services needed to maintain their range of systems, and after increasing their prices and failing to meet expectations, the golf club were looking for alternative options.


After researching local suppliers, the golf club came across Cold Control and phoned them the same day.


Initially, one of the Cold Control maintenance engineers conducted a site survey to understand the golf club’s system requirements. They concluded that a complete refurb of air conditioning and refrigeration systems was required, and so developed a cost-effective solution that could be immediately installed.


It was recommended that an air conditioning installation was needed in the following hotel facilities: gym, golf rooms, Summer House, dance studios, treatment rooms, spa, fitness suites, boardrooms, Manor House, library, games room, soft play room and staff room.


Refrigeration systems were also required in the following facilities: bar area, Summer House, Manor House, Clubhouse, Halfway House and kitchen areas.


Following installation, Cold Control also offered the client a maintenance contract to ensure system longevity and efficiency throughout the year. The golf club were originally looking to cut costs and receive an ongoing service from their suppliers, so this suited them perfectly.


From the first site visit in the 90s, to the ongoing maintenance and installation of the machines today, Cold Control has continued to provide cost-effective and efficient solutions for the golf resort. 20 years on, the hotel still maintains the warm and welcoming environment guests love.
