Cold Control are dedicated to providing high-quality air conditioning and refrigeration systems – but not at the expense of the environment. With this commitment in mind, we have introduced a range of internal initiatives designed to help reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the planet.

Electric company vehicles

In 2020, Cold Control replaced all fuel-based executive company vehicles for fully electric cars. Alongside this, we have installed 3 charge points at our facility in Ropley to enable staff to re-charge their vehicles onsite.

LED lighting

Given our rural location, we are reliant on electricity for all our power. As such, we have installed LED lighting throughout the office to mitigate our energy consumption.

Banned single-use plastics

We actively encourage staff members to drink from reusable bottles and cups, and shun single-use plastic bottles at work.

GPS van tracking

All 42 Cold Control vans are fitted with GPS vehicle tracking to ensure efficient fuel consumption.

Paperless communication

2019 saw the introduction of simPRO Enterprise into the business – a new system that seamlessly manages service, project and maintenance works in a paperless, live online environment.

Continual education

We work closely with both our suppliers and clients to deliver the most energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly solutions within the industry. During the life of a system, Cold Control Services Ltd continually inform and educate our clients about environmentally-friendly best practices for them to implement in their own business. These typically include:

  • Reducing wastage

  • Temperature control

  • Preventative maintenance

  • The location of unit

  • Lighting control

  • Condenser cleaning

TESTIMONIALS

I’m delighted with the service provided by Cold Control. The team have been extremely proactive when it comes to maintaining the air con systems. Whenever work is needed, the issues are resolved there and then. I can always rely on them.
